Apple September Event , New iPhones & More ! - Tech Today on Radio Hants Today
Apple has officially locked in its next major product showcase, sending out invitations for a special event on September 9, 2025. The keynote, titled “Awe dropping,” will take place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, and will be streamed live around the world on youtube and apple tv starting at 6pm in the UK
As with most September events, the main attraction is expected to be the next iPhone lineup. This year, Apple is rumored to introduce four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air.
The standout addition, the iPhone 17 Air, is said to be Apple’s thinnest phone yet, reportedly measuring just 5.5mm. Despite the slim design, it is expected to pack the company’s latest A18 chip and offer performance that rivals high-end Android competitors such as Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.
Other changes across the lineup may include redesigned cameras, 24MP front-facing cameras, and potentially 120Hz displays on all models. Apple may also unveil fresh color options, with orange strongly rumored for the Pro models.
The event is also expected to bring updates to Apple’s wearables. The Apple Watch Series 11 is likely to feature a new processor, global blood oxygen tracking, and possibly even blood pressure monitoring for the first time. The rugged Apple Watch Ultra 3 could debut with slimmer bezels and a brighter display while maintaining its adventure-focused design.
Apple’s popular earbuds may also see an update. The AirPods Pro 3 are rumored to feature a sleeker case design, improved performance, and health-focused features such as in-ear heart rate tracking. A much-discussed addition could be real-time translation, positioning Apple to take on rivals like Samsung and Google in the smart audio space.
Beyond hardware, Apple is set to detail release dates for its upcoming software, including iOS 26, iPadOS, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, and visionOS. New Apple Intelligence features are expected to be a major talking point, continuing the company’s push into AI-driven experiences.
While September 9 will almost certainly be dominated by the iPhone 17, Apple is also preparing a busy fall season. New iPads with the M5 chip, MacBooks, desktop Macs, and an upgraded Apple Vision Pro are all rumored for later in the year, alongside refreshed versions of the HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K.
Apple’s September keynote has long been a marquee moment in the tech calendar, and this year looks no different. Whether it’s a thinner iPhone, smarter AirPods, or more advanced health tracking on the Apple Watch, the “Awe dropping” event could signal one of the company’s most ambitious product launches in years.
